Daniel D. Joss, MBA, CFP®, AIF® is a 1988 graduate of the University of Southern California, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In 1999, he earned a Master of Business Administration, with an emphasis in financial planning from Regent University. Prior to founding Fox, Joss & Yankee, LLC, Dan was a Lead Advisor at Rembert, Pendleton & Fox (formerly known as Rembert, D'Orazio & Fox). Dan is a NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor.
Dan is a former commissioned officer of the United States Army and served in several challenging leadership positions. During his military service, he successfully completed two of the Army's most rigorous training programs, earning the Ranger Tab and the Master Parachutist Badge.
Dan is experienced in global asset allocation and portfolio design for professionals, retirement plans, cash management, insurance needs analysis, real estate, education funding techniques, and estate planning. He is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and the National Capital Area Chapter of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).
Dan lives in Vienna, Virginia, with his wife, Robin. They have two sons, Dryden and Deven, and a daughter, Daelyn. He enjoys investing time in his family, traveling, and playing an occasional round of golf.
