Tess Downing, CFP®, MBA, joined Fox, Joss & Yankee, LLC in June of 2008. As a Financial Advisor, she works closely a team of advisors to prepare, deliver and implement holistic financial plans for clients. She focuses on client relationship management, analysis and administration of investment portfolios, and financial independence case & scenario design and implementation. Tess is also chair of the Financial Planning Committee, a committee focused to further the knowledge of our Financial Advisors and stay abreast of the issues that our clients are currently facing. She is also an active member of the Investment Committee.
Tess earned her Master of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University. She also graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in Personal Financial Planning from TTU.
She is a 2011 graduate of the Emerging Leaders Institute Program at the Leadership Fairfax Institute, where members receive specialized leadership training, sharpen communication skills, and participate in community service projects in Northern Virginia. She is also on the Social Committee for The Future Fund at the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia. The Future Fund is a giving circle for young professionals who connect with one another while learning about the critical needs in the region. She is also active in the NexGen community, Financial Planning Association, and National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.
Tess and her husband, Jonathan, live and work in Reston, Virginia. She enjoys practicing yoga, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
