The Fox, Joss & Yankee, LLC, Process consists of two phases: the Project phase and the Ongoing Management phase.

Project Phase

Our project phase typically consists of between two to eight meetings, depending upon the number of projects the clients require. The Project phase typically will include one or more of the following projects: Capital Management, Education Planning, Cash Flow Projections, Retirement Planning, Estate Planning. Our fees are based upon an estimate of the time it takes us to complete projects. Clients typically incur fees of $500 to $3,000 per project. The project phase may take a period of several weeks to a few months depending upon how quickly or how slowly clients wish the project phase to move forward. We can easily complete three projects within a four month period.

Ongoing Management Phase

Our Ongoing Management phase begins after the project phase is complete. Clients that have completed the time intense "heavy lifting" required in the project phase engage us to become their financial planners on an ongoing basis. We stand ready to answer questions and address concerns as needs arise. Usually this involves updating a portion of something completed during the project phase. It always involves continued management of their portfolio, investment recommendations as required, and periodic reporting of the portfolio's performance. More often than not, it involves something other than their portfolio; social security, buy out or early retirement issues, real estate issues, life or long-term care insurance changes and the like.
