Meet the Team

Marjorie L. Fox, JD, CFP®, AIF® founded Fox, Joss & Yankee, LLC in January 2006 after fifteen years as a principal and twenty years as an employee of Rembert, Pendleton & Fox (RPF). RPF was formerly known as Rembert, D'Orazio & Fox and Hopewell Rembert Advisors.

Daniel D. Joss, MBA, CFP®, AIF® is a 1988 graduate of the University of Southern California, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In 1999, he earned a Master of Business Administration, with an emphasis in financial planning from Regent University. Prior to founding Fox, Joss & Yankee, LLC, Dan was a Lead Advisor at Rembert, Pendleton & Fox (formerly known as Rembert, D'Orazio & Fox).

Jon P. Yankee, MBA, CFP®, AIF® earned his Master of Business Administration in International Management with a focus on Finance from Thunderbird, the Garvin School of International Management in 1998. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies with a concentration in Asian Studies and Japanese from the University of Richmond in 1992. He also completed undergraduate work at Kansai University of Foreign Studies in Osaka, Japan from 1990-1991.

Laurie A. Belew, MBA, MS, joined Fox, Joss, & Yankee in August 2006 as an associate planner. Prior to joining FJY, she worked for Amicus Financial Advisors, LLP and Pennington, Bass & Associates in Lubbock, Texas. Laurie is a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Kristine E. Evans joined Fox, Joss & Yankee as Office Manager in August 2006. For the previous four years she served as the Office Administrator and then Sales Associate in the National Capital Office of Jefferson Wells, a firm providing professional financial, technology, and tax services.

Sally M. Yankee joined Fox, Joss & Yankee at its inception in January 2006. Prior to this she had assisted the Fox Team at Rembert, Pendleton & Fox in Falls Church, Virginia. She works part-time on FJY assignments, telecommuting from her home.

Tess L. Downing, MBA, joined Fox, Joss, and Yankee, LLC in June of 2008.  Tess earned her Master of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University in May of 2008.  She also graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in Personal Financial Planning degree in May of 2006 from TTU.
