• Marjorie L. Fox, JD, CFP® founded Fox, Joss & Yankee, LLC (FJY) in January 2006 after 15 years as a principal of Rembert, Pendleton & Fox (formerly known as Rembert, D'Orazio & Fox and Hopewell Rembert Advisors). An established client base gave Marjorie and her partners, Dan Joss and Jon Yankee, an opportunity to build a firm based upon best practices. With the goal of exceptional client service, FJY continues to focus on recruiting and retaining talented staff, planning for an internal succession, developing work flow processes and financial management systems, and integrating leading-edge technologies.

  • Daniel D. Joss MBA, CFP®, RLP® trained at the Kinder Institute of Life Planning, under the father of the life planning movement, George Kinder.  Dan received his Registered Life Planning (RLP®) designation in June 2009.  Dan earned a Master of Business Administration, with an emphasis in financial planning from Regent University in 1999.  He is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

  • Jon P. Yankee, MBA, CFP®, AIF® earned his Master of Business Administration in International Management with a focus on Finance from Thunderbird, the Garvin School of International Management in 1998. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies with a concentration in Asian Studies and Japanese from the University of Richmond in 1992. He also completed undergraduate work at Kansai University of Foreign Studies in Osaka, Japan from 1990-1991.

  • Laurie A. Belew, MBA, MS, CFP® joined Fox, Joss & Yankee in August 2006 as an associate advisor. Prior to joining FJY, she worked for Amicus Financial Advisors, LLP and Pennington, Bass & Associates in Lubbock, Texas. Laurie is a member of the Financial Planning Association, where she is active in the NexGen community of interest. She served on the task force for the 2007 and 2009 NexGen conferences. She is also a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.

  • Tess Downing, MBA, joined Fox, Joss & Yankee, LLC in June of 2008. Tess earned her Master of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University in May of 2008. She also graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in Personal Financial Planning degree in May of 2006 from TTU.

  • Kristine E. Evans joined Fox, Joss & Yankee as Office Manager in August 2006. For the previous four years she served as the Office Administrator and then Sales Associate in the National Capital Office of Jefferson Wells, a firm providing professional financial, technology, and tax services.

  • Sally M. Yankee joined Fox, Joss & Yankee at its inception in January 2006. Prior to this she had assisted the Fox Team at Rembert, Pendleton & Fox in Falls Church, Virginia. She works part-time on FJY assignments, telecommuting from her home.
