Tess Downing

Tess Downing, MBA, joined Fox, Joss & Yankee, LLC in June of 2008.  Tess earned her Master of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University in May of 2008.  She also graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in Personal Financial Planning degree in May of 2006 from TTU. 

While at Texas Tech, Tess earned the Financial Planning Association CFP® Certification Exam Scholarship as well as the Valero Scholar Award.  During an internship, she also gained valuable experience at Evensky & Katz Wealth Management, another fee-only financial planning firm located in Coral Gables, Florida.  Tess was also able to participate in the study abroad program at TTU and studied international accounting in Prague, Czech Republic. During graduate school, she was a graduate assistant in the financial planning department as well as the office of entrepreneurship.  Tess is currently working toward her three year experience requirement to complete the CFP® designation. 

Tess and her husband, Jonathan, live in Ashburn, Virginia.  She loves to travel, cook, and spend time with her family.
