The latest installment in our regular Q&A spotlight session where we sit down with members of the FJY team to find out a little bit more about what exactly they do here and what makes them tick.
This Month: Alan Ness
What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
Do investments count? The advisor in me starts going through a practical checklist to make sure I’m being prudent. Practicality out the window…a house in the Caribbean and a sailboat.
What would be your walk-up song if you were a professional baseball player?
No question…TNT by AC/DC. Takes me back to the days in the high school baseball weight room. Gets me pumped every time.
What’s a movie that you can practically quote from start to finish?
That’s a tough one, because there are several. The Princess Bride is a household favorite, and I have a soft spot for Andre the Giant. “Anybody want a peanut?”
When you were a little kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be an Architect and have always been fascinated by architecture. To the point that as a kid I would read magazines with house plans and blueprints instead of comic books. I would even design my own homes and floor plans.
