The latest installment in our Q&A spotlight session where we sit down with members of the FJY team to find out a little bit more about what exactly they do here and what makes them tick.
In this spotlight we get to know our 2021 Summer Associate:
What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
The first thing I would buy if I won the lottery would be my dream house on a lake and a boat to go with it.
When you were a little kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was really little I thought that my career would be looking at maps and deciding where train tracks would go. I don’t think there’s even a name for that job and I’m not sure how successful that career path would be in 2021. After that I wanted to be a gymnastics coach.
What defines success for you?
Success to me is feeling fulfilled in a number of areas of life, from relationships, to finances, to spiritually; as well as always pushing to be better and grow. I don’t think success is a single destination but a journey to finding your purpose and connecting that to all areas of your life.
What TV show or movie are you ashamed to admit you love?
A TV show that I’m ashamed to admit I love is Tidying Up with Marie Kondo. It’s all about organizing and decluttering and no one will ever watch it with me but I could binge watch it for hours.
What’s your favorite Halloween costume from your childhood?
My favorite Halloween costume from my childhood was when I was a yellow crayon.
