On a Personal Note
Alexis and her family appreciate local hiking and biking trails and visits to the lake with their kayaks. Their two rescue hound dogs make for a noisy house but are the best cuddle bugs and outdoor buddies. Her husband, Dave, is an avid rock climber and mountain biker. Together, they find relationship success through a balance of setting common goals and deliberately cherishing the simplicity of life’s joys.
Traveling abroad to visit extended family in England creates unforgettable experiences and historical enrichment. They especially love the coasts of Cornwall and Wales and breathtaking views of rolling hills in the countryside. They are looking forward to resuming international travel post-pandemic! For now it is local trips up and down the East Coast to visit family and check out Disney again…and again. Who doesn’t love rollercoasters? Her husband!
Alexis’s personal growth is helped by an ongoing Mindfulness-meditation practice as well as pushing herself outside her comfort zone, whether it is mountain biking with Dave, testing new healthy recipes, or challenging workouts to increase strength and endurance. However, a good book and a cup of tea have a special place in her heart!
