Jon Ludwig joined FJY Financial in June 2018 and is eager to begin his role as an Associate Financial Advisor. Jon had previously interned with FJY Financial in the summer of 2017, where he worked alongside multiple financial advisors in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment while learning the ins and outs of the financial planning profession.
In spring 2018, Jon became a cum laude graduate from Virginia Tech, where he studied financial planning and investment management. During his four years in Blacksburg, Jon was actively involved in Virginia Tech’s FPA program, acted as treasurer for Delta Sigma Phi fraternity, served as a member of Pamplin’s Dean’s Student Advisory Council, and was elected President of the Pamplin Leadership Team. Through Jon’s leadership and hard work, he was selected as Virginia Tech’s 2018 Student Leader of the Year in addition to receiving the CFI Senior Financial Planning Scholarship Award. He hopes to bring a similar successful mentality into the workforce by joining FJY Financial’s investment and financial planning committees, being active in FPA’s Next Gen community, and applying for the Northern Virginia’s Chamber of Commerce.
On A Personal Note
Jon grew up right around the corner in South Riding, VA. Growing up, Jon spent most of his time playing sports outdoors and has continued to do so by being involved in various rec leagues including basketball, softball, and lacrosse. Off the field, he loves to yell at his TV when rooting for his Washington sports teams, especially the 2018 Stanley Cup Champions, the Washington Capitals. Other than sports, Jon enjoys vacationing at the beach and going skiing with his family in Park City, Utah. You will catch Jon occasionally listening to his favorite artists, Soulja Boy and Nickelback, every now and then.
