Shelley Newham, SHRM-CP®

Director of Business Operations, Virginia Office

Shelley joined FJY Financial in May 2018 as our office administrator. Shelley wears many hats and helps our office run efficiently by managing the day to day administrative tasks as well as accounting, technology, security, and her favorite part of her role,  HR. She is dedicated to the success of our team and strives to empower each of us.  Although Shelley works behind the scenes she enjoys chatting with clients and is always happy to help in any way that she can.

Shelley wasn’t always an office administration guru. She graduated from the Savanah College of Art and Design with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Photography.  A career shift in 2006 led her down the HR path and eventually brought her to FJY!

On a Personal Note

Shelley  is originally from Chicago.   She currently lives in Fairfax with her husband Jim, daughter Caitlyn (who is graduating and is getting ready to go to college in the fall), dog JJ, and two cats.  Shelley still enjoys photography in her spare time.  She is currently the photographer for Caitlyn’s high school lacrosse team and the unofficial photographer for FJY!
